1. Who we are

This policy explains what personal data MUSIC PROMO (music-promo.com, the “Site”, “we”, “us”) processes and why. Contact: info@music-promo.com.

The Site has no user accounts, no registration and no newsletters. We do not ask for your name, phone number or address.

2. Your audio files

All tools on the Site - mastering, BPM and key detection, stem splitting and audio to MIDI - run entirely in your browser. The audio files you choose and the results are never uploaded to our server, never stored by us and are not accessible to us. Only the Site’s own files and processing engines are downloaded from the server; finished results are created and saved on your device.

3. What data we process

• Technical data. When you open any page, your browser automatically sends our hosting server your IP address, browser type and version, the requested page and the time of the request. This is recorded in the hosting provider’s server logs.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card details. After a purchase we store the PayPal transaction ID, your PayPal email address and name as sent by PayPal, the access code issued for it and its remaining download count. We use this only to confirm the payment and to restore your code if you lose it.
• Crypto payments. If you pay with cryptocurrency, we store the transaction hash, the amount and the wallet address the payment came from, so we can restore your code if you lose it. Your wallet address and the transaction itself are public on the blockchain by design.
• Downloads. Each paid download is logged with its access code and time, and gets a licence number that is written into the downloaded files (WAV comment and report). It lets us confirm that a master was obtained legitimately.
• Access code checks. To prevent abuse, our server temporarily records IP addresses together with the number of access code checks and downloads in a short time window.
• Emails. If you write to info@music-promo.com, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not build a profile of you; it records page views together with technical data such as the page address, referrer, browser type and approximate country. The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Browser storage

After you enter an access code, the Site saves it in your browser’s local storage so you do not have to type it again. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data. This storage is strictly necessary for the paid download feature and is not used for tracking.

5. Why we process data and on what legal basis

• Running and securing the Site (technical data, abuse protection) - our legitimate interest in keeping the Site available and safe.
• Selling and delivering download packages (purchase data, access codes) - performance of a contract with you.
• Answering your emails - our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps taken at your request.
• Legal obligations - for example, keeping payment records for accounting and tax purposes.

6. Who we share data with

• our hosting provider - to run the server;
• Cloudflare, Inc. - provider of Cloudflare Web Analytics, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy;
• Etherscan - we query this public blockchain explorer to confirm crypto payments (no personal data beyond the public transaction is involved);
• PayPal - to process payments, under PayPal’s privacy statement;
• authorities - only where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

7. International transfers

PayPal, Cloudflare and our hosting provider may process data in other countries. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards offered by these providers.

8. How long we keep data

• Server logs - as long as our hosting provider keeps them, usually a few weeks.
• Rate-limit records - a few minutes.
• Purchase records and access codes - for as long as the code can be used and as required by accounting and tax laws.
• Emails - up to one year after we reply, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email info@music-promo.com. We reply within 30 days.

10. Security

The Site works only over encrypted HTTPS. We keep the amount of data we hold to a minimum: there are no user accounts, and your audio never leaves your device.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at music-promo.com/privacy-policy/, with the date of the last update at the top.
